Hedge and Verge Maintenance
We have a fleet of rear mounted hedge/verge cutters (some of the most advanced in the Country) that enables us to carry out the full range of verge and hedge maintenance.

From the traditional flail head of 1.2 metres to the twin cut head that is 1.6 metres wide (reducing the number of passes of a standard flail head).

We also have our Saw Blade that is capable of cutting up to 14 inch limbs from trees without the need for scaffolding or climbing equipment. This equipment is also suitable for scrub clearance and will save many hours of manual labour in clearing small or large areas.

We also have a rotary blade head that enables grass to be cut from underneath wire fences without the traditional requirement for this to be completed by manual strimming.

The majority of the tractors are also fitted with front mounted toppers to assist with verge cutting.

Baling

We have 4 balers: Krone Round Baler, Massey 4 string 80×70, Massey 6 string 120×70, Massey 6 string 120×90. We also offer mowing, raking and tedding seeing through the whole process.

Transtacking

We also have a Big Bale Transtacker which proves to be a popular asset during the harvest season. The transtacker helps reduce soil compaction, reducing the amount of time the standard tractor and trailer would have to go over the same areas. The stacks can be adjusted in height to suit an individuals preference e.g. if a loader can only reach so high or can be stacked to maximum.

Big Ab Trailer
We have a BigAb trailer and this is capable of lifting a range of trailer attachments from moving pig huts to rubble removal the bed of the trailer can be dropped off and picked up at a later date removing the requirement for the whole trailer to be onsite the whole time. This unique setup allows Ashridge Country Services to load a range of tractor implements on the trailer and carry out a complete renovation of the grassland without requiring multiple journeys to our base on the road. Therefore avoiding unnecessary travel time and expense and also reduces the environmental impact from decreased distances travelled by our tractors.

Health & Safety

All of our operators are fully trained and tractors are all equipped with their own first aid kit, fire extinguisher and spill kit.

We have an extensive health and safety portfolio and can supply method statements and risk assessments when required. Ensuring a professional, safe service throughout.

We are more than happy to visit the works site beforehand to check access and further discuss clients needs in detail.

We have comprehensive insurance cover including up to £10,000,000 public liability.
